Location - London. This established and respected organisation is looking for a Channel Development Manager to join their team, to manage the company’s largest accounts.
Due to the nature of this role, the salary cannot be advertised, however this can be discussed on application.
Purpose of the Job
To manage some of the company’s largest & fastest growing customers who work in both the Retail & On-line in the UK & across Europe. The company recently secured preferred partner status with one of the worlds leading brands to supply 3rd party products which compliment Apples, Iphone, IPOD & Computer ranges. The role involves taking responsibility for driving all commercial aspects of the relationship. Building relationships at all levels & championing these demanding customers’ requirement within the company, whilst managing the costs associated to retain agreed profitability levels.
Candidate Profile
You will have a successful track record selling into strategic/key accounts within both Retail & On-Line of a commercially detailed & complex nature. Working with multiple influencers & decision makers at a senior level
Must have:
1. Experience in a Senior Sales role, minimum 2 years.
2. Experience in Retail, minimum 2 years. Experience in dealing with a business driven by planogram & in-store dates.
3. Experience in the On-line market sector
4. Experience in the Apple market sector
5. Sound commercial and business awareness.
6. Can demonstrate a good level of negotiation and communication skills, both internally and with external clients.
7. Can provide evidence of working in a target related environment.
8. Can demonstrate their ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations.
9. Excellent at building customer relationships.
10. Ability to present in a professional manner.
11. Proficient selling & communicating to senior managers & directors.
Desirable:
1. 2+ years experience in a Senior Sales role.
2. Understands/knowledge of The company’s vendors’
3. Experience of implementing marketing campaigns with dealers
4. Experience of working with software & business products
Qualifications/Training
Desirable:
Has undertaken some level of study (e.g. ‘O’ level, ‘A’ level or NVQ) |
