Location - North West London. Purpose of the Job
To be a lead marketer within the company, developing and managing the company’s messaging for a wide array of IT and consumer technology products. You will be responsible for managing a team of marketing execs and designers to drive successful marketing campaigns and respond to increasing marketing output demands. With the combination of creative flair, strong time management skills and a sound knowledge of products and customers’ business, you will spot the opportunities, and make the business happen through innovative marketing activity.
Candidate Profile
You will be outgoing, charismatic, creative, and passionate; being able to demonstrate a successful track record managing a marketing team ideally within the IT and consumer tech sectors.
Must have:
1. Leadership experience of managing a marketing team
2. Experience in a senior marketing role driving results
3. Experience creating and executing successful marketing campaigns within a vendor, distributor or reseller
4. Thinks creatively and innovatively
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Able to write highly effective and compelling copy
7. Ability to plan effectively with great attention to detail
8. Strong commercial and business awareness
9. Ability to act in a consultative way to improve current processes
10. Can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations
11. Ability to present in a professional manner at Board level
12. Proficient at influencing and selling your ideas to senior management
13. The ability to make marketing sizzle!
14. Self-motivated go-getter – tenacious and diligent
Desirable:
1. 5+ years experience in a marketing role
2. Understands the company’s product line up e.g. Apple and creative markets
3. Experience of marketing to the channel, especially running events
4. Fluency in French or Spanish
5. Product savvy and an interest in consumer technology
6. Creative flair and a passion for innovation |
